Apparently the the state motto for Pennsylvania from 1983 to 1999 was “You’ve got a Friend in Pennsylvania”. It has since been changed to “State of Independence” but that is less fun.
I enjoyed Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is a nice city and has some good tourist attractions, however it seems to be outside of Philadelphia were the state shines best. Lancaster County is a great place to spend a few chilled out days and Gettysburg is a site of huge historical value.
My total score for Pennsylvania out of 50 is 36.
